About MentorMatch
More than just a mentor/mentee matching program, MentorMatch is a partnership between Outcome.Life, Rotary Victoria, and Study Melbourne. Its key purpose is to build confidence in Victoria’s 200,000+ international students.
Using artificial intelligence and machine learning, MentorMatch recommends the most suitably experienced and qualified mentor for each international student. Mentees and mentors then participate in a structured mentorship program, tailored to suit the individual needs of each student.
MentorMatch helps international students integrate into Australian social and business communities. This expands international students’ social and professional networks. MentorMatch boosts students’ confidence to connect with these communities, and above all, helps to bridge any cultural differences whilst studying here in Australia.
With the dedicated commitment from Rotary & Friends to deliver experienced and qualified mentors at scale, it is our belief that every international student in Victoria should have access to a local experienced professional mentor.

Study Melbourne is a Victorian Government initiative providing support and information to this community of international students, helping them have the best possible time while studying and living in Victoria. Study Melbourne provides a range of services including policy development and advocacy, international and inter-government relations, offshore program management, marketing and business development, welfare and wellbeing support services for students, and advocacy for Victoria’s international education providers.
